Charles has been admitted to the California Bar since 1987 after graduating UCLA Law School as class of '86. He won the infamous Sex.com case in year 2000, becoming the first lawyer to prove that a domain name was property, making his client, who registered the world's most valuable domain first, but lost it due to a conman's trick. He has achieved other IP law firsts -- recovering the RL.Com domain and other valuable names, and engaged in extensive successful IP litigation with a variety of large targets -- huge corporations with excellent lawyers. Currently, Charles likes to focus on representing psychedelic churches, or "visionary churches," as he prefers to call them.
